The U-Reach TP400G is a portable eraser for erasing and duplicating SATA hard disk drives and SSD's. Due to the compact dimensions, the TP eraser can easily be used at any desired location. Four SATA drives can be simultaneously deleted asynchronously; each SATA port can be individually controlled. The TP400G eraser offers five Erase functions; "Quick Erase", "Full Erase", "Secure Erase", "DoD Erase" and "DoD 7-pass Erase". The DoD Erase function complies with the 5220.22-M US Department of Defense standard.

The U-Reach TP eraser offers a built-in Log Report function. This saves the data of each erased SATA HDD or SSD; duration, Erase mode, result and serial number. The log information can be printed real-time with the optional label printer. The log information can also be exported and saved on a USB stick for use on a PC.

In addition to erasing SATA disks, the U-Reach TP400G eraser can also be used for duplication. The TP can simultaneously make three copies of a SATA hard disk drive or SSD. The TP400G duplicator offers a maximum speed of 9 GB per minute (150 MB/s) on all channels. The speed does not decrease when multiple hard disk drives are connected. The TP HDD duplicator offers four different copy functions; "Quick Copy", "All Partitions Copy", "Percentage Copy" and "Whole HDD Copy." The Quick Copy function supports the following formats: FAT16/32, exFAT, NTFS, Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4) and Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX).

Optional adapters are available for the TP400G SATA eraser/duplicator with which allow different drive interfaces to be connected to the SATA ports of the TP400G. Adapters are available for IDE, mSATA, eSATA, iVDR, M.2 (NGFF) and Cfast, among others.

Log Report printer

The U-Reach TP eraser Log Report function stores data from each erased hard disk drive or SSD. This individual log data (duration, sanitization mode, result and serial number) can be printed directly to the optional label printer. The label printer is connected to the TP eraser via the RS232 port.

Quick Copy

The "Quick Copy" function only duplicates the existing data area on an NTFS, Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4) FAT16/32 or exFAT partition. The duplication process can be accelerated considerably in most cases. Other not supported data formats can also be duplicated with the "Whole Media" copy function. This will duplicate the entire content in a bitwise operation.

Sanitization

The U-Reach TP erasers support different sanitization methods for hard disk drives and SSD's:

Quick Erase: Only overwrite FAT.
Full Erase: Overwrite the entire data carrier.
DoD Erase: Multiple cycles, complies with the US Department of Defence 5220.22-M standard.
DoD 7-pass Erase: 7 cycles, complies with the US Department of Defence 5220.22-M standard.
Secure Erase: A NIST 800-88 supported method to securely sanitize modern drives (HDD and SSD).

Optional Adapters

The U-Reach SATA duplicators support the use of optional adapters for connecting additional interfaces. This makes it possible to use more than one media standard. Adapters are available for:
