The U-Reach KV series CRU duplicators are professional systems specially developed for duplicating and erasing Digital Cinema CRU hard disk drives. The KV CRU 1-4 Master duplicator uses CRU DX115 DC enclosures for connecting the hard disks. The KV CRU hard drive duplicators offer a special "Daisy-Chain" function; The "Master" 1-4 KV CRU duplicator can be connected to multiple "Slave" KV 6 CRU duplicators to create a large duplicator. Up to a maximum of 42 KV duplicators can be linked together.

Using the "PC Monitoring" function, the current status and functioning of the KV CRU duplicator can be monitored via a PC. Extensive production information can be stored and consulted with the Log Report function. The KV CRU duplicators work stand-alone, no PC or software is required. Operating the system is easy; all functions are controlled via the function keys and the LCD display.

The U-Reach KV 1-4 hard disk drive duplicator can make three copies of a CRU hard disk drive simultaneously. The KV duplicators offer a maximum copy speed of 9 GB per minute (150 MB/s) on all channels. The speed does not decrease when multiple hard disk drives are connected. The KV HDD duplicator offers four different copy functions; "Quick Copy", "All Partitions Copy", "Percentage Copy" and "Whole HDD Copy". The Quick Copy function supports the following formats; FAT16/32, exFAT, NTFS, Linux (ext2/ext3 /ext4) and Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX).

In addition to duplicating, the KV CRU duplicator can also be used to erase CRU hard disk drives. Four Erase functions are available for this; "Quick Erase", "Full Erase", "Secure Erase" and "DoD Erase". The DoD Erase function complies with the 5220.22-M US Department of Defense standard.

Real-Time PC Monitoring

The PC Monitoring function makes it possible to monitor the status and progress of the current process in real-time. The information of each port is shown on the PC screen. This makes it easy to detect poorly performing hard disk drives. The required software is suitable for Windows PCs and is supplied free of charge. Log Report Management

Quick Copy

The "Quick Copy" function only duplicates the existing data area on an NTFS, Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4) FAT16/32 or exFAT partition. The duplication process can be accelerated considerably in most cases. Other not supported data formats can also be duplicated with the "Whole Media" copy function. This will duplicate the entire content in a bitwise operation.

Sanitization

The U-Reach erasers support different sanitization methods for hard disk drives and SSD's:
Quick Erase: Only overwrite FAT.
Full Erase: Overwrite the entire data carrier.
DoD Erase: Multiple cycles, complies with the US Department of Defence 5220.22-M standard.
Secure Erase: A NIST 800-88 supported method to securely sanitize modern drives (HDD and SSD).

The KV CRU disk duplicators / erasers offer a special "Daisy-Chain" function; The "Master" 1-4 KV CRU system can be connected to multiple "Slave" KV 6 CRU systems to form one large system. Up to a maximum of 42 KV units can be linked together.
